Blacktrace Expands its Presence in Japan with New Office in Kanagawa
Blacktrace, a world leader in Productizing Science® has expanded its presence in Japan by opening a new office in Kanagawa and doubling its sales team. The expansion will help the company meet increasing demand from its key sectors in Japan, particularly for single cell technology.
In particular, the appointment of biology specialist Ms. Ai Miyazaki elevates the Japan sales team’s ability to support its customers working in the rapidly growing area of single cell research. The company’s newest brand, Dolomite Bio, is a key provider of the single cell technologies and its Nadia Instrument has the potential to accelerate disease research and drug discovery in areas such as oncology and neurology research.
The physical office expansion enables the company to host workshops and in-person meetings, whilst solidifying relationships and providing stronger local support.
Other key markets experiencing continued year-on-year growth in Japan are microfluidics and flow chemistry. Blacktrace’s expansion in Japan also positions its other brands, Dolomite Microfluidics and Syrris, a world leader in flow chemistry, to have an increased presence and ensure that key product lines are more strongly supported in response to the rising demand in this part of the world.
Kozo Hori, Regional Manager of Blacktrace, Japan explains why the expansion is a positive move for the company: “We are delighted to be expanding our presence in Japan to meet the growing demand in the region. In particular, we are looking forward to supporting the single cell community with Dolomite Bio’s Nadia Instrument.”
